How mobile audiology visits work

1. Schedule your visit

Tell us who the visit is for, the location (home, office, or care facility), and your preferred days and times. We’ll match you with a nearby audiologist.

2. We come to you

Your audiologist arrives with modern, calibrated equipment to perform hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, and adjustments in a quiet room or office.

3. Ongoing hearing support

Get a clear care plan, hearing aid options if needed, and easy follow‑up visits for cleanings, repairs, and adjustments—without extra trips across town.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Still wondering if mobile hearing care is right for you, your family member, or your residents? Start here—or call us and speak with a care coordinator.

What areas do you serve?

We currently serve patients in Toronto and across the Greater Toronto Area—from Hamilton in the west to Whitby in the east, and as far north as Barrie. Appointments located more than 45 minutes outside of central Toronto are subject to a $50 long-distance travel fee.

Are mobile audiology visits covered by OHIP?

Audiology services are not covered by or billable to OHIP, but the Assistive Devices Program does help subsidize the cost of hearing aids ($500/ear).

What should I expect during a mobile visit?

Your audiologist will review your history and concerns, perform a hearing evaluation in a quiet room, explain your results in plain language, and outline next steps. If hearing aids are appropriate, you’ll see options—not pressure.

Can you see multiple residents or family members in one visit?

Yes. We regularly support couples, families, and entire communities. Let us know how many people need evaluations when you book so we can schedule the right amount of time.

Is mobile hearing care safe for immunocompromised or older adults?

Yes. Our clinicians follow strict infection‑prevention protocols, including hand hygiene, equipment disinfection, and masking as needed based on current public health guidance and your preferences.
